Abstract

This project focuses on the design and development of a small-scale wind turbine generator aimed at providing
sustainable, off-grid power solutions. The generator is designed to efficiently harness wind energy and store it
in a power bank for charging small electronic devices such as smart phones, portable lamps, and other off-grid
appliances. By utilizing the waterfall methodology, the project ensures a structured approach to design,
development, testing, and deployment. Key components of the system include anemometers, digital voltmeters,
and a voltage regulator to monitor wind conditions, optimize energy generation, and maintain safety. The
research emphasizes the integration of blade design optimization and performance monitoring to enhance the
efficiency of the wind turbine, while also considering portability and ease of use. The study demonstrates the
feasibility of using small-scale wind turbines as reliable energy sources for remote and off-grid areas,
showcasing the potential for wind power in addressing the global demand for renewable energy solutions.
