Abstract

This research examines the impacts of additives on lubrication with viscosity change and temperature effects, published in the Finite Journal. For finite journal bearing, the generalized Reynolds equation for two-layer fluid is developed and applied. The Finite Difference Method approach is used to solve the finite journal bearing with modified Reynolds equation numerically. The pressure and load capacity in the lubrication process rise as the temperature impact for two-layer fluids grows.
