This study investigates the role of literary texts in enhancing language skills and
proficiency. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research delves into how literary works

grammatical understanding, and stylistic nuances. Through detailed textual analysis and
interpretation, the study explores how exposure to diverse literary genres fosters linguistic
competence and fluency. Additionally, the research examines the cognitive and affective

thinking, empathy, and cultural awareness. Drawing on insights from linguistics, literature,
